The West Central Trojan volleyball team traveled to Canton on Tuesday, October 1st for a match against the C-Hawks. Canton took the match in straight sets by scores of 25-16, 25-19, and 25-15.
Canton started the first set with a slim 3-2 lead. The score was tied 5-5 and again 7-7. West Central then took a 10-9 lead. After Canton scored the next two points, the Trojans went back in front 14-13. The C-Hawks went on a 6-1 run for a 19-15 lead. Canton finished the set on another 6-1 run for a 25-16 win.
The C-Hawks started the second set on a 3-1 run and continued to build on the lead to 7-2. Canton stayed in front the entire second set. They led 23-15 before winning 25-19. Another 3-1 start gave Canton an early lead in the third set. They pushed the lead to 15-7 and then 20-11. The C-Hawks closed out the match with a 25-15 win.
