Chargers Beat West Central in Straight Sets

The West Central Trojans had a road match against the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers on Thursday, September 12th.  The Chargers won the match in straight sets by scores of 25-18, 25-9, and 25-9.

Sioux Falls Christian started the match on an 8-2 run.  West Central cut the lead down to points with scores of 8-6, 11-9, and 13-11.  The Chargers then went on a 3-0 run for a 16-11 lead.  They increased the lead to 24-17 before taking the first set 25-18.  After an early 4-2 lead by the Chargers to start the second set and then went on an 10-2 run for a 14-4 lead.  Sioux Falls Christian finished the set on an 11-5 run for the 25-9 win.  The third set started with a 3-3 tie, but Sioux Falls Christian went on a 13-3 run for a 16-6 lead.  The momentum carried to a 25-9 win.

Dawson Garry had five kills, two blocks, and an ace serve.  Cambree Ideker finished with two kills, 10 digs, and five set assists.  Maddyx Ingalls added four set assists and two kills.  Avery Nothdurft had eight digs.
