Salem Comes from Behind for Win over Wood Ducks

The Humboldt/Hartford Wood Ducks had a lead for six innings, but Salem rallied for an 11-5 win on Sunday, July 14th.

Both teams put two runs on the board in the first inning.  The Wood Ducks scored two more runs in the second for a 4-2 lead.  Salem got one run in the top of the fourth.  The scored remained 4-3 in favor of the Wood Ducks until the top of the seventh inning.  Salem scored three times to take a 6-4 lead.  They added five more runs in the top of the ninth to make the score 11-4.  Humboldt/Hartford added one run in the bottom of the ninth.

Braden Herr had three hits and an RBI.  Logan Larson had two singles with an RBI.  Camden McDonald also had two singles.  Dominick Chandaswang added a double.  Nathan Adrian, Jacob Ellens, and Presten Riddle all had one hit each.  Austin King finished with two RBIs, and Brayden Odegaard had one RBI.
