Gamecocks Take Road Win in Colman

The Humboldt/Hartford Gamecocks earned a 4-2 road win over Colman on Sunday, June 16th.

Both teams put two runs on the board in the first inning.  The score remained 2-2 until the top of the fifth inning.  Cam Quigley broke the tie with a two-run single giving the Gamecocks a 4-2 lead they wouldn’t lose.

Quigley finished with two hits and two RBIs.  Briggs Havlik had three hits, two of those doubles.  Jonah Rechtenbaugh had a double.  Joe Hanisch, Loren Jacobson, and Duece Sherard all had one hit each.  Carver Hultgren pitched four innings and allowed two earned runs on three hits with two strikeouts.  Rechtenbaugh pitched five innings and allowed two hits and had three strikeouts.
