The West Central Trojan track team took part in the Ruth Marske Invitational in Brookings on Saturday, March 23rd.
The girls 4x400m relay team of Maya Van Hyfte, Ryenn Caffrey, Ellie McDonald, and Maelee Krempges finished 11th with a time of 4:43.71. Drew Caffrey took 19th in the 1600m run with a time of 5:54.76. McDonald finished 22nd in the 800m run with a time of 2:39.28.
Jude Jarding finished third in the 200m with a time :22.70. Jarding also finished fourth in the 400m run with a time of :50.25. Benjamin Strunk was seventh in the 800m run (2:03.33) and also seventh in the 1600m run (4:32.93). Liam Schmeichel was eighth in the 110m hurdles with a time of :15.94. Crew Heier placed ninth in the shot put with a throw of 44’10.25″.
