West Central Boys Capture Fourth Straight Win

The West Central Trojan boys won their fourth straight game after a 61-46 home win over the McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars on Saturday, February 17th.

The Cougars held an 11-6 lead with 4:30 to play in the opening quarter.  The Trojans finished the quarter on a 7-2 run to tie the game 13-13.  The run continued into the third quarter for West Central.  The Trojans went on an 11-0 run for a 24-13 lead with 3:30 to go in the first half.  West Central would lead 31-20 at halftime.  Momentum carried into the third quarter for West Central.  They scored the first 11 points of the third quarter for a 42-20 advantage with 4:00 to play.  The third quarter ended with a 44-26 lead for the Trojans.

Crew Heier finished with 21 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.  Jake Kuhl added 16 points and 10 rebounds.  Carter Tetzlaff had seven points.
