The West Central Trojan boys and girls wrestling teams took part in the Rapid City Invitational. The tournament was held on Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th. The boys team finished with 94.5 points. The girls team had 50 points.
Gavin Pischke placed second in the 285-pound class finishing with four total wins. Kaden Haakinson (106) placed sixth and had three wins. Chandler Carda (165) took seventh with four wins. Karson Vessells (126) had an eighth place finish with three wins. Keaton Vessells (157) also had an eighth place finish with three wins. Gabe Gebhard (215) placed eighth as well with four wins.
Bentley Klinkhammer (113) and Langdon Klinkhammer (138) finished with three wins each. Jesse Jost (144) and Rayce Whiting (175) each had one win. Orlando Whiting (132) and Hayden Whiting (150) also took part in the tournament.
For the girls team, Hailey Fortney placed fourth and had five wins in the tournament. Allison Foote took seventh with five wins. Kyliegh Schuller finished with three wins, and Wylynn Drevlow had one win.
