West Central Girls and Boys Teams Both Place Second at Tanager Cross Country Invite

Both the girls and boys cross country teams for West Central placed second at the Tanager Cross Country Invite in Vermillion on Monday, October 2nd.  The girls team finished one point out of first place with 42 points.  The boys team finished with 46 points.  Not only did both teams place second, the Trojans had multiple top 10 individual finishers.

Benjamin Strunk finished second with a time of 16:47.62.  Jonathon Roth was fourth with a time of 17:17.76.  Peyton Tetzlaff took ninth with a time of 18:24.06.  Kyper Kilger (15th) had a time of 19:18.77, and Kade Hruby (16th) finished in 19:44.78.

For the girls team, Brooklyn Sundermann finished fourth in a time of 21:03.74.  Sara Johnson was sixth with a time of 21:16.14.  Maelee Krempges took ninth with a time of 21:37.09.  Lucy Rozeboom placed 10th with a time of 21:45.71.  Drew Caffrey (12th) had a time of 21:58.97, and Aubrey Borns (17th) finished in 23:00.08.
