The West Central Trojan cross country team had a big day in Dell Rapids on Monday, September 18th. The girls team took first place with a total of 40 points. The boys team also had the top spot with 44 team points.
The girls team had three top 10 finishers. Aubrey Borns was fifth. Maelee Krempges was sixth. Brooklyn Sundermann placed 10th. Lucy Rozeboom had an 11th place finish. Sarah Johnson was right behind in 12th place, and Drew Caffrey took 17th.
The boys team also had three top 10 finishers, including the top two spots. Benjamin Strunk won, and Jonathon Roth was second. Peyton Tetzlaff placed seventh. Jacob Peterson took the 11th spot. Kyper Hilger was 21st, and Kade Hruby placed 26th.
