The West Central Trojan golf team had a good day at the Vermillion Invite on Thursday, September 8th. The Trojans had two golfers finished in the top 15 while the team placed third with a score of 336. Vermillion was first at 325, and Canton placed second with 333.
Trey Even finished second with a round of 76, just two shots back of the individual champion Keeton Newborg of Tea. Anthony Lanham had a top 15 finish, placing 14th, with a round of 84. Kamden Zomer had an 87 on the day. Connor Mebius finished with an 89. Connor Eich and Easton Eberhard both had rounds of 93.
West Central will be at the Elk Point-Jefferson Invite on Thursday, September 15th.
