The West Central Trojan cross country team had three top 5 individual finishes at the Canton Invite on Tuesday, September 6th.
The girls team finished second with 37 points. Vermillion finished first as a team with 22 points.
Brie Peters placed fifth with a time of 21:11.44. Bailey Stallman had a ninth place finish with a time of 21:57.98. Hadley Larson (11th) had a time of 23:06.93. Maelee Krempges (12th) finished in 23:10.56. Ellie McDonald (15th) had a time of 23:38.30, and Aubrey Borns (19th) finished in 24:40.31.
The boys team finished third with 31 points, but only two points behind first place Vermillion. The Tanagers finished with 29 points. Dakota Valley took second with 30 points.
Benjamin Strunk placed third with a time of 18:07.99. Jonathon Roth was fifth in 18:42.84. Griffin Stallman (13th) had a time of 19:45.69. Jacob Peterson (14th) finished with a time of 19:54.26.
