The West Central Trojan girls soccer team earned two more wins after back-to-back victories on Friday, August 26th and Saturday, August 27th. The boys team lost a road match on Saturday and Monday, August 29th.
Girls: West Central 9, Belle Fourche 0
West Central hosted Belle Fourche on Friday and extended their shutout streak to five with a 9-0 win. The Trojans scored four times in the first half and then scored five more in the second half. The win improved their record to 5-0.
Girls: West Central 7, St Thomas More 1
The Trojans then hosted St Thomas More on Saturday and earned their sixth straight win to start the season. West Central scored six of their seven goals in the first half. The Cavaliers broke the shut out streak by the Trojans with a goal in the first half. West Central got one more goal in the second half.
Boys: Sioux Falls Christian 12, West Central 0
The West Central boys team traveled to Sioux Falls on Saturday to play the Chargers. Sioux Falls Christian got nine goals in the first half for a 9-0 lead. They added three more in the second half for the 12-0 win.
Boys: Tea Area 10, West Central 0
The boys then traveled to Tea on Monday, August 29th to play the Titans. Tea Area got five goals in the first half for a 5-0 lead. The Titans then added another five goals in the second half for the 10-0 victory.
