The West Central Trojan girls and boys cross country teams got their season underway on Friday, August 28th. The Trojans traveled to Beresford for the Beresford Cross Country Invitational.
The girls team finished seventh overall with a total of 162 points. Sioux Falls Lincoln was first with 10 points, followed by Sioux Falls Christian with 38 points and Beresford with 72 points.

The boys team finished 12th with a total of 217 points. Sioux Falls Christian won the team title with 16 points. Sioux Falls Lincoln was second with 21 points, and Vermillion placed third with 67 points.
