The Tri-Valley Mustang boys golf team played in the Region 1A tournament in Sisseton on Monday, September 25th. The Mustangs finished eighth as a team with a score of 374. Tri-Valley, however, did have two individuals qualify for the state tournament.
Carson Sanders and Jaxson Rise tied for 23rd place with rounds of 91, taking the final spots for the state tournament out of Region 1A. Treyson Richter had a round of 94. Parker Atwood finished with a 98, and Jackson Williams had a 102.
Sanders and Rise will play in the 2023 South Dakota State A Boys Golf Tournament in Rapid City on Monday, October 2nd and Tuesday, October 3rd.
