Tri-Valley Wrestling Team Wins Jesse James Invitational

The Tri-Valley Mustang wrestling team won the Jesse James Invitational in Garretson on Saturday, January 11th.  The Mustangs compiled 280 points, bested the second place team Groton, by 55.5 points.

Cole Hendrixson won the 138-pound division with a 4-0 record.  Connor Glassford won the 126-pound class with a 3-0 record.  Brody Dybvig won the 165-pound division with a 3-0 record.  Landyn Reiser placed first in the 175-pound class also with a 3-0 record.  Luke Nehlich won the 285-pound class with three wins.  Owen Bunde took second in the 120-pound weight class with a 3-1 record.  Treyson Ricther was second in the 157-pound class with a 2-1 record.  Xavier Yount finished second in the 190-pound class with a 2-1 record.

Sean King (106) finished third with four wins on the day.  Legend Frederick (113) placed fourth finishing with a 2-2 record.  Major Richter (150) took fourth with a 3-2 record.  Elliot Powell (215) placed fourth with a 2-2 record.  Lucas Van Duyn (106) finished fifth with a 3-2 record.  Jackson Williams (144) placed fifth with a 2-2 record.  Jesus Mendoza (165) took fifth in his class with a 3-2 record.

Alex McFarland (144) finished 2-2, and Will Sly (138) finished 1-3.  Xander Sharpe (113) was 0-3.
