The Tri-Valley Mustang boys wrestling team took part in the Region 2B tournament in Salem on Saturday, February 22nd. The team finished second with 207.0 points. Eleven of the thirteen wrestlers placed in the tournament. Three of them were region champions.
Treyson Richter won the 157-pound class with a 3-0 record. Brody Dybvig won the 165-pound division and Landyn Reiser won the 175-pound class, both with 2-0 records. Sean King (106), Legend Frederick (113), and Cole Hendrixson (138) all finished second with 2-1 records. Connor Glassford (126); Xavier Yount (190), and Luke Nehlich (285) all placed third with 4-1 records. Owen Bunde (120) was fourth with a 2-2 record. Alex McFarland (132) placed fifth with a 3-2 record.
Marcus Oberg (144) and Elliot Powell (215) both finished 0-2 on the day.
