The Tri-Valley Mustang wrestling team placed third at the Region 2B Tournament held in Canton on Saturday, February 17th. The Mustangs finished with 158.0 points. Canton (299.0) placed first, and Parker (186.0) finished second.
Cole Hendrixson finished second in the 126-pound division with a 2-1 record. Treyson Richter took second in the 132-pound class also with a 2-1 record. Landyn Reiser was second in the 165-pound division with a 2-1 record. Isaac Nehlich also had a second place finish in the 285-pound class wiht a 2-1 record. Brody Dybvig placed third in the 150-pound class with two wins. Owen Bunde placed fourth in the 106-pound class with a 2-2 record. Connor Glassford was also fourth in the 120-pound class with a 3-2 record. Jackson Williams was fourth in the 138-pound division with a 2-2 record.
Brechen Frederick (157) was fifth with a 3-2 record. Everet Althoff (175) was also fifth with a 2-2 record. Xavier Yount (190) placed sixth with a 1-3 record. Major Richter (144) also took part in the tournament.
