The Tri-Valley Mustang boys wrestling team finished ninth at the Sioux Valley Cossack Avalanche Tournament in Volga on Saturday, December 21st. The Mustangs finished with a total of 38.5 points.
Elliot Powell took second in the 215-pound division with a 2-1 record. Major Richter (157) finished fourth with a 2-2 record. Legend Frederick (106) finished 2-2. Marcus Oberg (150) had one win.
Lucas Van Duyn (113), Jaxton Rinehart (132), Destry Wilking (132), Will Sly (138), Jesus Mendoza (165), and Zachary Nehlich (175) all took part in the tournament finishing 0-2 each.
