Tri-Valley Maroon 16U won a high scoring road game against Garretson on Monday, July 1st by a score of 15-11.
Tri-Valley got the scoring started with a run in the top of the first inning. Garretson took the lead, 2-1, with two runs in the bottom of the first. The lead went back to Tri-Valley after they scored five times in the top of the second. Garretson only got one run back in the second inning making the score 6-3. Each team scored a run in the third inning. Tri-Valley increased the lead to 8-4 with a run in the top of the fourth. The lead grew to 13-4 after a five-run top of the fifth inning for Tri-Valley. Garretson also scored five runs in the bottom of the inning making the score 13-9. Each team scored two more times, Tri-Valley in the sixth and Garretson in the seventh.
Tristen Bunde had a single and two RBIs. Treyson Richter finished with a triple and an RBI. Brody Dybvig and Alex Wingen each had a single and an RBI. Kaiden Bernards, Brechen Federick, and Jackson Williams all had one single apiece.
