Tri-Valley scored nine runs in the bottom of the first and went on to defeat Baltic 18-7 on Thursday, July 18th.
After Tri-Valley’s nine-run first inning, Baltic scored a run in the second and one in the third for a 9-2 score. Tri-Valley got those two runs back in the bottom of the third. Baltic added two runs in the top of the fourth to make the score 11-4. Tri-Valley added seven more runs in the bottom of the fourth for an 18-4 score. Baltic scored three more times in the top of the fifth, but the game ended on the 10-run rule.
Alex Wingen had three hits, one a double, and an RBI. Jackson Williams added two hits and four RBIs. Parker Atwood had two hits and an RBI. Kaiden Bernards finished with a double and two RBIs. Tristen Bunde had a hit and two RBIs. Gage Egger had a single and an RBI, and Denton Bicknase finished with a single.
