Tri-Valley Maroon had two big innings and cruised to a 16-1 win over West Central Gold in Humboldt on Wednesday, June 19th.
Tri-Valley jumped out to a 9-0 lead after the top of the first inning. West Central got a single run in the bottom of the first. After a scoreless second inning, Tri-Valley scored seven times in the top of the third. The game ended on the 15-run rule after the third inning.
Garrit Koopman had two singles and two RBIs. Reed Smith had two hits as well with an RBI. Cooper Durick finished with a double and two RBIs. Paxton Felsheim and Jaxson Rise both had a single and two RBIs each. Abbott Moeller and Dante Nehman had a double and an RBI each. Evan Focken ended with a single, and Lawwon Schneiderman had an RBI. Rise pitched three innings and allowed an unearned runs on a hit and two walks with five strikeouts.
