Playing in their third straight road game to start the season, Tri-Valley fell to Parkston/Ethan/Trip 13-5 on Monday, April 11th. P/E/T scored in every inning but the first in the win.

Tyler Groenewold drove home Riley Carlson for the first run of the game and the first run for Tri-Valley in the top of the second inning. P/E/T, however, scored three times in the bottom of the second and three more in the bottom of the third for a 6-1 lead. Tri-Valley cut the lad in half to 6-3 after Connor Christensen drove home two with a single in the top of the fourth inning. That was as close as Tri-Valley would get. P/E/T added a single run in the fourth, two in the fifth, and four more in the sixth. Tri-Valley had single runs in the top of the fifth and seventh innings.

Christensen had a single and two RBIs. Groenewold had a single and an RBI. Noah Haynes also had a hit in the game. Carter Sorenson had an RBI. Kaden Egger pitched 2 2/3 innings allowing seven runs, only two earned, on five hits and three walks. Sorenson pitched 2 1/3 innings allowing six runs, two earned, on no hits with five walks and three strikeouts. Carlson pitched an inning striking out one.
