Tough Second Half Sinks Mustang Boys

A tough second half was the difference in the game against the Deubrook Area Dolphins on Tuesday, January 21st.  The Dolphins held Tri-Valley to just nine second-half points in a 53-35 win.

The teams played even the entire first half.  Deubrook held a 14-12 lead at the end of the first quarter.  Tri-Valley took the lead in the second quarter, but the first half game to an end with a 26-26 tie.  The Dolphins would outscore the Mustangs 14-4 in the third quarter for a 40-30 lead.  Tri-Valley scored the first three points of the fourth quarter right away to make the score 40-33, but the Mustangs were then held scoreless until late in the game.

Brady Jewett finished with 10 points.  Teagin Gacke had eight points.  Tritsen Bunde, Ty Oyen, and Alex Wingen all had four points each.  Mason Hemme ended with three points, and Landon Hughes had two points.
