Luke Strom hit two home runs and drove in three runs to help Tri-Valley White 16U to a 15-6 win over the Sargents on Monday, July 1st.
Tri-Valley scored three times in the bottom of the first inning to take a lead they would not lose. The Sargents scored a run in the second inning, but Tri-Valley followed with another three-run inning for a 6-1 lead. The Sargents scored two times in the top of the third to cut the lead in half, 6-3. Tri-Valley’s offense was not done as they scored four times in the bottom of the third. After the Sargents scored three runs in the top of the fourth, Tri-Valley responded with five runs in the bottom of the inning.
Bracken Sharpe also had two hits in the game, one a triple, and three RBIs. Blaine Wieczorek had two hits, one a double, and two RBIs. Zach Pester added a double and two RBIs. Aden Woodraska had a single and an RBI. Cooper had a double, and Sullivan Snethen ended with a single.
