The Tri-Valley Mustang cross country team will have one runner at the state meet this season. The Mustangs competed in the Region 2A meet in Volga on Wednesday, October 16th. The girls team finished seventh with 133 points. The boys team took sixth with 121 points.
Jaxton Rinehart will be the lone representative for the Mustangs after finishing 16th with a time of 18:34.10. Teagin Gacke (25th) had a time of 19:20.30. Sean King (42nd) completed in 20:43.50. Isaiah Kendig (47th) had a time of 21:19.10. Vincent Even (48th) was a second behind at 21:20.30. Jaxen Kindelspire (53rd) finished in 21:49.60.
Pria Martinell (29th) had a time of 23:24.40. Tyler Gibson (31st) completed in 24:31.70. Anna Alvey (37th) had a time of 25:38.10. Carly Rickenbaugh (39th) finished in 26:34.90. Isabella Mack (44th) had a time of 28:15.60, and Aaliyah Vande Vooren (45th) finished in 28:41.60.
The state meet will be held at Hart Ranch in Rapid City on Saturday, October 26th.
