The Tri-Valley Mustang girls had their final regular season game at #3 Lennox on Thursday, February 19th. The Orioles built a double-digit lead in the first quarter and rolled to a 66-22 win.
The Mustangs led 6-5 after the first four minutes of the first quarter. Lennox finished the quarter on a 14-3 run to take a 19-9 lead at the break. The Orioles went on a 16-0 run in the second quarter and held Tri-Valley to just three points. Lennox led 37-12 at halftime. The Mustangs were held to just 10 points in the second half.
Tri-Valley shot 21% (7-33) from the field overall, 29% (4-14) on three-point shots, and 4-6 from the free-throw line. Lennox was 44% (24-54) shooting overall, 43% (9-21) on three-point attempts, and 64% (9-14) from the free-throw line.
Rowyn Gacke had seven points and three rebounds. Hailey Sorenson had five points and three rebounds. Lily Schlueter and Mya Soderquist both had three points each. Kadence Davey and Lexi Everhart each finished with two points apiece.
