Regular Season Ends for Mustang Boys

The Tri-Valley Mustangs (6-13) held the final regular season game against the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers on Friday, February 24th.  The Chargers used bigger scoring differences in the first and third quarter for their 81-54 victory.

Sioux Falls Christian built a 17-point lead by the end of the first quarter, 27-10.  The Mustangs just about went shot-for-shot with the Chargers in the second quarter, but still trailed 48-30 at halftime.  The Chargers would then outscore Tri-Valley 24-11 in the third quarter to lead 72-41 going into the final quarter.

The Mustangs shot 42% (22-53) overall in the game, 38% (8-21) from three-point area, and 2-4 from the free-throw line.  The Chargers were 57% (34-58) shooting from the field, 43% (10-23) on three-point attempts, and 3-7 from the free-throw line.

Braden Oyen had 22 points.  Noah Haynes had five points and seven rebounds.  Brady Benson and Alex Wingen also each had five points.  Trey Johnson finished with four points and five rebounds.  Levi Langloss also had four points with two rebounds and two assists.
