The Tri-Valley Mustang wrestling team finished fifth at the Dak-12 Conference Tournament with 101.5 points on Saturday, January 21st. Canton placed first with 242.0 points. West Central (217.0) finished second, and Tea Area (214.5) was third.
Mason Hendrickson took second in the 170-pound class with a 2-1 record. Isaac Nehlich also finished second in the 285-pound class with a 2-1 record. Cole Hendrixson (113) was third with a 3-1 record. Treyson Richter (126) also placed third with a 3-1 record. Landyn Reiser (152) had a fourth place finish with a 2-2 record.
Owen Effling (120) and Everet Althoff (182) both finished 2-2. Bracken Sharpe (132), Xavier Yount (195), and Luke Nehlich (220) all finished 1-2. Owen Bunde (106) and Jesus Mendoza (160) both finished 0-2.
