The Tri-Valley Mustang wrestling team placed 8th at the Howard Tournament on Saturday, December 10th. The Mustangs finished with a total of 83 points. McCook Central/Montrose won the the team title with 129.5 points.
The Mustangs had four place winners. Mason Hendrickson finished second with a 2-1 record in the 182-pound division. Cole Hendrixson placed third with a 3-1 record in the 120-pound division. Landyn Reiser also placed third with a 3-1 record in the 160-pound division. Brody Dybvig finished fourth in the 152-pound class with a 3-2 record.
Owen Bunde (106), Owen Effling (126), and Treyson Richter (132) all had two wins each. Jesus Mendoza (160) finished with a 1-2 record. Jackson Williams (113) and Xavier Yount (195) were both 0-2.
