The Tri-Valley Mustang wrestling team had 10 place winners at the 2026 South Dakota High School Individual Championships in Sioux Falls Thursday, February 26th through Saturday, February 28th.
Harper Gibson placed fourth with a 3-2 record.
Owen Bunde took second in the 132-pound class with a 3-1 record. Landyn Reiser also placed second in the 175-pound class with a 3-1 record. Legend Frederick (106) and Brody Dybvig (190) both placed fourth with 3-2 records. Connor Glassford (120), Cole Hendrixson (144), and Luke Nehlich (285) all finished fifth with 4-2 records. Treyson Richter (157) placed seventh with a 3-2 record. Xavier Yount (215) was eighth with a 2-3 record.
Alex McFarland (138) and Owen Effling (150) both finished 0-2 in the tournament.
