The Tri-Valley Mustang wrestling team competed in the Dak-12 Conference Tournament in Madison on Saturday, January 20th. The boys team finished with 124.5 points for fourth place. The girls team had a total of 4.0 points.
For the girls team, Yaretzi Barqueno finished fourth with an 0-3 record.
Brody Dybvig placed second in the 157-pound division with a 2-1 record. Landyn Reiser also finished second in the 165-pound class with a 2-1 record.
Owen Bunde (106) had a third place finish with a 3-1 record. Connor Glassford (120) also had a third place finish with a 3-1 record. Cole Hendrixson placed third as well with a 3-1 record. Brechen Frederick (150) took fourth with a 2-2 record. Everet Althoff (175) was fourth with a 2-2 record. Xavier Yount (190) was fourth with a 2-2 record, and Isaac Nehlich (215) was also fourth with a 2-2 record.
Treyson Richter (138) had two wins. Jackson Williams (132), Marcus Oberg (144), Jesus Mendoza (165), and Elliot Powell (190) also took part in the tournament.
