The Tri-Valley Mustangs traveled to Baltic for a Region 3A matchup on Monday, October 6th. The Bulldogs took the match in straight sets by scores of 25-13, 25-12, and 25-14.
The opening set started with a 3-3 tie. The score was tied again 7-7 and 11-11. Baltic then went on an 11-0 run for 22-11 before winning 25-13. The second set also started with a 3-3 tie. The Bulldogs went ahead 7-4 and continued to grow the lead. Baltic extended the lead to 14-6 and then 19-7 on their way to a 25-12 win. The Bulldogs opened the third set with a 4-0 run and extended the lead to 14-4. Baltic cruised to a 25-14 win.
Madelyn Wenzel had eight kills and a block. Nevaeh Grann added six kills. Victoria O’Toole had three kills and a block. Kenzie Atwood tallied 10 digs. Julia Mauszycki had nine digs, and Abigail Wagner had 15 set assists and five digs.
