The Tri-Valley Mustangs softball team will be playing in the State A tournament. The Mustangs cruised to a 15-0 win over Sisseton in the SoDak 16 on Wednesday, May 22nd.
Emry Jones held Sisseton hitless in three innings. Jones walked just one batter and had nine strikeouts. The Tri-Valley offense scored four times in the bottom of the first, nine more in the second, and then four more in the third to end the game on the 15-run rule.
Jones also had a home run and double offensively with four RBIs. Izzy Davey had two hits, one a home run, and three RBIs. Reese Wilt added two hits, including a double, and an RBI. Ava Christensen finished with a double and an RBI. Emery Pearson also had a double. Kadence Davey had a single, and Syenna Bird had an RBI.
