Mustang Cross Country Team Has New Coach for 2023

The Tri-Valley Mustang cross country team will be led by new head coach Jayni Schroeder this season.  Schroeder’s team returns all but one runner back from last year’s team.

Last year the Mustangs had four letter winners on the boys team, and three of those four return in 2023.  They are Teagin Gacke (junior), Vincent Even (8th grade), and Tobin Lamer (freshman).  The girls team returns all four letter winners from last year, Isabella Mack (sophomore), Tyler Gibson (8th grade), Kaidence Rude (8th grade), an dTrier Kocmick (8th grade).  Other runners for this year include Carly Rickenbaugh (junior), Hunter Sargent (freshman), Isaiah Kendig (8th grade), Jaxen Kindelspire (7th grade).

“This year will be my first year as the head cross country coach, and I could not be more excited to take on this role!  This entire group of runners have determination to be successful and improve themselves each day.  It will be a great season!” Schroeder said.

The first meet for the Mustangs will be in Madison on Friday, August 25th.
