Mustang Boys Roll to Big Win in Canton

The Tri-Valley Mustang boys got off to a quick start and rolled to a 64-33 win over the Canton C-Hawks on Tuesday, January 27th.

The Mustangs put 20 points on the board on their way to a 20-8 lead by the end of the first quarter.  They kept rolling from there.  The lead grew to 38-16 by halftime.  The Mustangs had another 20-point quarter in the third, scoring 21 points, as they lead 59-28 going into the final quarter.

Tri-Valley shot 55% (24-44) in the game overall, 33% (5-15) on three-point attempts, and 85% (11-13) from the free-throw line.  Canton shot just 35% (13-37) overall, 20% (4-20) on their three-point shots, and 3-6 from the free-throw line.

Brady Jewett finished with 27 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Mason Hemme added 13 points.  Lawson Schneiderman had seven points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Dante Nehman also had seven points with four rebounds.  Ty Oyen ended with six points.
