Tri-Valley Maroon 16U had a four-run lead going into the bottom of the seventh, but Flandreau scored five times to get a 10-9 win on Monday, July 22nd.
Flandreau scored a run in the bottom of the first for a 1-0 lead. Tri-Valley took a 2-1 lead with two runs in the top of the second. Flandreau responded with two in the bottom of the inning for a 3-2 lead. Tri-Valley tied the game with a run in the top of the fourth. They went ahead 6-3 with three runs in the top of the fifth. Flandreau cut the lead to 6-5 with two runs in the bottom of the fifth. Tri-Valley would add two runs in the sixth and another in the seventh for a 9-5 lead before Flandreau’s five-run bottom of the seventh.
Tri-Valley was held to just two hits in the game. Jackson Williams had a hit and three RBIs. Tristsen Bunde also had a hit. Mason Hemme finished with an RBI.
