The Colton Yard Goats were no hit in their Region 5B opening round game loss against Alexandria, 4-0, on Tuesday, July 22nd.
Alexandria scored single runs in four different innings. They scored in the second, third, fourth, and seventh innings. Alexandria finished with six hits.
Colton did have three base runners via a walk in the game. Carter Sorenson pitched 3 2/3 innings and allowed three runs, two earned, on three hits and five walks with four strikeouts. Braxton Allen pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed a hit and walk with one strikeout. Landon Schenkel pitched an inning and allowed an earned run on two hits.
