Baltic/Colton used a nine-run third inning to lead them to a 15-7 win in Alexandria on Tuesday, July 16th.
Both teams put two runs on the board in the first inning for a 2-2 tie. Baltic/Colton then scored nine runs in the top of the third to take the lead for good. They added another run in the the top of the fourth making the score 12-2. Alexandria scored four times in the bottom of the fourth to cut the lead in half, 12-6. Baltic/Colton added two more runs in the fifth and another in the sixth for a 15-6 score. Alexandria added one more in the bottom of the sixth.
Riley Schultz had four hits, including a home run, and four RBIs. Tyler Groenewold had three hits, one a double, and two RBIs. Carter Sorenson had two singles and two RBIs. Beau Keith added two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Nathan Madison and Gunner Schultz each had two hits and one RBI each. Everett Althoff and Cody Lofswold both added one hit and one RBI each. Beau Breece also had an RBI.
