The Tri-Valley Mustang boys golf team is the Region 1A champions in 2026. They finished with a round of 315 at the tournament held at Rocky Run Golf Course in Dell Rapids on Monday, September 28th. Sioux Valley finished second with a score of 326, and Dell Rapids was third with a 330.
Not only did the team finish first, but Treyson Richter is the individual champion after a round of 75. Jaxson Rise placed fifth with a 78. Parker Atwood finished seventh with an 81. Connor King also had a round of 81 and finished ninth. Brody Williams placed 19th with a round of 96.
The 2026 South Dakota Boys State A Golf Tournament will be held in Mitchell at Lakeview Municipal Golf Course on Monday, October 5th and Tuesday, October 6th.
