Mustang Girls Winning Streak Snapped in White

The Tri-Valley Mustang girls had their five-game winning streak snapped by the Deubrook Dolphins in White on Tuesday, January 20th.  The Dolphins pulled out a 47-39 win over the Mustangs.

The first and fourth quarters belonged to the Dolphins, which was the difference in the game.  Deubrook took a 14-9 lead by the end of the first quarter.  Tri-Valley rallied to tie the game 21-21 at halftime.  The Mustangs were able to hold the Dolphins to just eight points in the third quarter, and Tri-Valley led 30-29 going into the fourth quarter.  The Dolphins, however, outscored the Mustangs 18-9 in the final quarter for the 47-39 win.

Hailey Sorenson had 18 points to the lead the Mustangs.  Mattie Huwe finished in double figures as well with 10 points.  Danika Fluth had seven points.  Peyton Vogt and Rylin Fods each had two points.
