Mustang Wrestling Ties for Second at Home Tournament

The Tri-Valley Mustang wrestling team hosted the Tri-Valley Invitational on Saturday, January 17th.  The Mustangs finished tied for second with Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes at 200 points.  Bon Homme/Avon took the top spot with 229.5 points.

Landyn Reiser won the 175-pound class with a 4-0 record.  Treyson Richter took the top spot in the 157-pound division with a 3-0 record.  Legend Frederick (106) and Cole Hendrixson (144) both finished second with 3-1 records.  Owen Bunde (132) and Brody Dybvig (190) also had second-place finishes with 2-1 records.

Xavier Yount (215) was fourth with a 3-2 record.  Luke Nehlich (285) was also fourth with a 2-2 record.  Alex McFarland (144) placed fifth with a 4-2 record.   Jaxton Rinehart (138) was sixth with a 3-3 record.  Jacson Williams (165) finished sixth with a 2-3 record.  William Richter (120) and Zachary Nehlich (190) both placed sixth with 1-3 records.

Breckyn Reiser (144) and Jesus Mendoza (165) each had 2-2 records.  Chase King (106), Xander Sharpe (126), and Major Richter (165) all finished 1-2 for the day.  Braxton Kirstein (132), Destry Wilking (138), and Jesse Swartwout (150) were all 0-2.
