Tri-Valley White 14U Improves to 6-1 on Season

The Tri-Valley White 14U team improved to 6-1 on the year with a 15-8 win over Walls by Waldner on Wednesday, June 18th.

Walls by Waldner got a run in the top of the first, but Tri-Valley’s offense erupted for eight runs in the bottom of the inning.  After another run in the top of the second, Tri-Valley got two more in their half of the second.  Both teams scored three times in the third, and Tri-Valley led 13-5 after three innings.  Tri-Valley scored a single run in both the fourth and fifth innings.  Walls by Waldner got three more in the top of the fifth.

Keegan Wipf had three hits, including a double, with two RBIs.  Landon Sadler had two hits and three RBIs.  Xander Sharpe had a triple and single with two RBIs.  Aiden Gunderson added two singles.  Irshad Kalombo and Izaac McNamara both had a hit with an RBI.  Elijah Strom, Jacob Schulte, and Jaxen Kindelspire all had one hit each.  Wipf pitched three innings and allowed five earned runs on seven hits and two walks with seven strikeouts.  Sharpe pitched two innings and allowed three runs, one earned, on two hits and a walk with six strikeouts.
