The Tri-Valley Mustang cross country team competed in the McCook Central/Montrose Invite in Salem on Tuesday, September 1st. The girls team finished second with 50 team points. Chamberlain won the team title with 12 points. The boys team placed fourth overall with 62 points. The team had two top 5 finishers individually on the day.
Pria Martinell finished fifth with a time of 22:14.69. Tyler Gibson (27th) had a time of 24:04.27. Harper Gibson (28th) finished in 24:14.68, and Madelyn Jensen (47th) had a time of 30:04.20.
Jaxton Rinehart took second with a time of 16:50.94. Sean King was 12th and completed in 18:43.63. Teagen Teel (28th) had a time of 19:36.49. Jaxen Kindelspire (31st) finished in 20:07.48, and Milo Carlson (47th) had a time of 21:25.27.
