The 2026 cross country team for the Tri-Valley Mustangs returns both state qualifiers from a year ago, and according to head coach Glen Elder, the team is young and hungry this season.
Jaxton Rinehart and Pria Martinell both competed in the state meet a year ago and will be looked upon to help lead the group. Tyler and Harper Gibson, along with Aleta Carlson, will be names to watch for the Mustangs on the girl’s team. Sean King, Teegin Teel, Jaxen Kindelspire, and Milo Carlson will help form the boy’s varsity roster.
“I feel we finally have the depth to compete in the middle of each race with hopefully top three on a few,” added Coach Elder.
