The Dell Rapids Quarrier Wrestling Team placed six wrestlers at the Region 1 tournament on Saturday, February 16th.  Jackson Entringer placed 1st at 182 pounds, and Leon Maxwell placed 1st at 220 pounds.  2nd place went to Phillip Schwebach at 160 pounds.  3rd place finishers were Riley Miller at 170 pounds, and Trevor Peter at 195 pounds.  Jacob Habeger placed 4th at 285 pounds.  All six of the wrestlers will be wrestling at the State Tournament in Watertown on Friday, February 22nd and Saturday, February 23rd.

A pep rally for the wrestlers heading to State will be held on Thursday, February 21st at 10:10 a.m. in the high school gym.  A welcome home for the boys will be held on Sunday, February 24th at 2:00 p.m. in the Middle School Commons area.
