The Dell Rapids St Mary Cardinal boys basketball team had their seven-game win streak come to an end on Monday afternoon in Arlington. Arlington won the battle of the Cardinal in a make-up game by a score of 64-50 on February 18th.
Arlington had just a nine point lead at halftime at 37-28. Arlington, however, would outscore St Mary 27-22 in the second half to earn the 14-point victory in the game.
Connor Libis led St Mary with 25 points in the game. Connar Kangas had 12 points. Three players finished in double figures for Arlington. Devon Heuer had 18 points, Revor Larsen had 16 points, and Trey Ramstad had 13 points.
St Mary (15-4) will close out the regular season on Friday, February 22nd in their final home game of the year against Howard. The game can be seen on Big Sioux Media.
