The Dell Rapids Quarrier wrestling team had six wrestlers place at the Dan Pansch/Jesse James Invitational Wrestling Tournament hosted by Garretson at Brandon Valley High School on Saturday, January 6th.
Dell Rapids finished 9th out of 19 teams with 78.5 points. Canton placed first with 212.0 points. Harrisburg was second with 196.0 points, and Brandon Valley placed third as a team with 153.0 points.
Jacob Vogel (3rd), Canyon Lowman (5th), Max Lamer (8th), Gage Carr (7th), Ben Cavigielli (5th), and Nick Palmer (6th) all placed in the tournament.
The Quarriers will head to Madison on Tuesday, January 9th for their second Dak XII meet. The meet will start at 6:30 p.m.
