The Dell Rapids Quarriers girls basketball team opened up their season with a win at #5 Sioux Falls Christian 48-31 on Tuesday, December 10th. Nine different players from Dell Rapids scored in the game. Arial Hoffman led the team with nine points, followed by Sarah Haak with eight. Mikaela Stofferahn picked up 10 rebounds in the game, and Sami Reider finished with three assists.
The Quarriers will host Tea Area in a double-header with the boys on Friday, December 20th. The game will be webcast on Big Sioux Media.

The Dell Rapids Quarriers JV team also picked up a win against Sioux Falls Christian. Hannah Welbig had 10 points to lead the team followed by Sydney Cook and Brittney Siemonsma with eight points apiece.
