After winning the “Top of the Rock” tournament on Saturday, December 2nd, the Dell Rapids Quarrier wrestling team placed third at the Watertown 8-Team Dual Tournament on Saturday, December 9th, in Watertown.
Dell Rapids finished 2-1 in the pool rounds. Watertown defeated Dell Rapids 63-10. The Quarriers, however, won their next dual in a come-from-behind fashion against Madison 36-33. Dell Rapids then defeated West Central 46-23 to advance to the third place dual. The Quarriers easily defeated Tea Area 54-27 to place third in the tournament.

The Quarriers will have their first of five Dak XII meets on Tuesday, December 12th. Tuesday’s meet will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Tea Area High School.
