The Dell Rapids Quarrier girls basketball team won their second game in a row, and fifth overall, after a 55-41 win over the Lennox Orioles on Monday, January 12th in Lennox.
Dell Rapids led at every quarter break in the game. The Quarriers were ahead 18-9 after the first quarter. They were able to extend the lead to 10 points by halftime at 31-21. They maintained their 10-point lead after the third quarter at 40-30. Dell Rapids then out-scored Lennox 15-11 in the final quarter for the 14-point victory.
Dell Rapids improves to 5-3 on the year. The Quarriers will travel to Beresford on Friday, January 16th, for their next game.
